What is RAW DAO?

RAW is a decentralized autonomous organization that was incubated by Fingerprints in late 2021, dedicated to collecting the best NFT photography and advancing this artistic practice in the process.

RAW launched in partnership with some of the best artists in the NFT photography space, funded by Fingerprints and enthusiasts through a Party Bid sale of the piece Twin Flames #49 by Justin Aversano. In the sale, bidders were also airdropped $RAW tokens, enabling them to become members of the new DAO.

RAW has gone on to develop several governance innovations, including a decentralized curatorial system that allows all members to have equal say in what the DAO collects next.
